The challenge is great

He is brave

The insecurities surround him

He is a warrior

His world is upside down

He turns mine right side up

His foundation is crumbling

He is resilient

Fear is in front of him

He is fearless

His home is broken and shattered

He picks up the pieces and holds them in the Light

He sees hope

He is fearless

He is resilient

He is brave

He is a warrior

My son. My rock.

  1. Earlier I only saw the picture not the poem. A lovely paean, prayer and plea. The foundation of trust and connection that you have laid with him will also be his rock as he bravely and resiliently feels all the different things this will bring up in him. He will know that you seek to see him, value understanding him and love him. I think the gift of sanity and clarity that he and you will receive from the ending of the craziness will outweigh the loss eventually but that does not mean the loss is not huge. ❤
